Michele Carey, also known as Michele Lee Henson, is the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr who was a physician, and Thelma Burell Henson. She was born in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America and was born on the 26th February 1942. As a teen, she excelled at playing the piano, and at only 13 years old she won an international contest at Chicago Music Festival. In Fort Collins, Colorado she lived with her parents. She finished the schooling at Fort Collins High School and graduated in 1960. In order to improve her career prospects she relocated into Los Angeles. She began her career in modeling after being signed by the Powers Agency, a prestigious modeling agency. Her love for acting was evident, and Hollywood producers saw her while she was still modeling. Following her time at Powers, she moved into the acting world in 1964 with the television series The Man From U.N.C.L.E. It was her performance in El Dorado 1966 as the principal character Josephine Joey MacDonald who brought greater attention to her. The roles she played in the 1960s and 70s made her a prominent actress.
