Becki Newton

Becki is a native of Guilford Connecticut. As a teenager, she started performing locally in shows and Stock Theatre. She pursued a degree in European History at the University of Pennsylvania and during that when she was able to spend several months in Europe. After graduating, Becki immediately moved to NYC to take on Broadway. After performing in numerous national commercials as well as guest star characters, like Cold Case (2003), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), and American Dreams (2002), she was cast as Amanda on Ugly Betty (2006). She is married to actor Chris Diamantopoulos, and her brother is actor Matt Newton. The beautiful women I've seen don't have to be models of the highest caliber. This is a good thing because I'm not worried about the red carpet at work, since I'm not an expert. Still, I'm definitely not afraid to take chances with regards to my appearance. The glamour is fun! The point is not to be a fussy person however, it's about taking care of yourself. I've realized that there's no harm in having a few moments of fancies.
